As the world gets hotter the demand for cold beverages is increasing significantly, but 48% of developing countries don’t have full access to electricity.

Idea

Budweiser in partnership with design agency FROG created the Ground Cooler. The first underground cooling system that cools below 6 degrees without electricity. How? By modernizing a traditional cooling solution used in antiquity by Egyptian and Indus Valley civilizations which consisted of burying food. underground in clay pots. The Ground cooler was engineered to fit all types of beverages and was designed not just as a cooler, but a space covered from the sun where people can gather and socialize.
